Senior Resident Engineer - Roads - Pietermaritzburg
PrEng or PrTech Eng registered civil engineer with 10 - 20 years experience as a resident engineer on major roads or highways. Proven track record of project management, safety, roads earthworks, layer design & work, roads testing, client relationships. Previous SANRAL experience would be a good advantage. Must be prepared to travel. Permanent position, salary negotiable.
Duties:
Monitor site work, safety, compliance with design, laboratory testing, report writing, problem solving, client relationships, be willing to mentor younger engineers, site administration and attending meetings. The incumbent will have to be prepared to travel and live on or near the sites, the sites will include South Africa and most SADC countries.

Resident Engineer - Pipelines - Pietermaritzburg
PrEng civil engineer with a minimum of 15 years experience as a resident engineer. Steel pipeline experience which includes, welding, trenching, bedding, pipe laying, coatings, valve applications and installation, cathodic protection, reinforced concrete structures, pipe testing, safety and site administration. The resident engineer must be prepared to work in Lesotho, Mozambique or Botswana in remote locations. The applicant must be prepared to travel and live on or near sites and to work independently. This is a permanent or fixed term contract with normal company benefits, the remuneration is market related.
